reasons to choose Red Interior for curtains

range of headings

Curtains are available with a number of headings, including traditional (such as pinch pleat, pencil pleat and gathered). We also specialise in more contemporary headings (such as eyelet, inverted box pleat and s-fold or ripple fold).

quality workmanship

Our curtains are made by the finest workroom in Australia using sewing techniques handed down from one generation to the next. No window treatment is too complicated and we can provide sketches to help visualise the design.

personalised insulators

Drapes are still regarded as one of the best insulators of windows, as well as adding a touch of softness and elegance to a room. They are a timeless window treatment and our designer can personalise them to your exact requirements.

Areas We Service

Red Interior Design are happy to provide curtains to all suburbs within Metro Melbourne, including: Balwyn, Berwick, Camberwell, Clifton Hill, East Ivanhoe, Fairfield, Hawthorn, Heidelberg, Ivanhoe, Kew and Northcote.

How much fullness do you put into your home curtains?

All of our products are tailor made to suit your specific requirements. Generally, we allow anywhere between 2 and 2.5 fullness as a standard depending on the fabric, heading and effect we are trying to achieve.

What method do you use to attach the lining to ready made curtains along the side edges?

All of our products are hand sewn or shanked, unlike most drapes that are made using plastic tags attached using a tagging gun.

Can I have my home curtains interlined for extra noise and heat insulation?

Yes, we can interline your drapes with one of three thicknesses of cotton bumph interlining, as well as our premium 3 pass suede blockout lining.
